Jurjen Drenth is well-known for the warm, romantic style of his photography. He broke through thanks to his attractive coverage of the Netherlands, which he photographed in all its versatility. His unique series on the famous Dutch painters Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh drew world-wide attention. Reports from Drenth on the Netherlands and many other countries were published in leading journals such as National Geographic, El Pais, Stern, Geo Saison, Traveler, ANWB Kampioen and ANWB Reizen. Drenth also supplied the photography for the books Op Ontdekking in Eigen Land (Exploring the Netherlands), The Dutch, I Presume?, Dutch Delight and The Rembrandt Guide. Furthermore, Drenth regularly works for government departments, the NBTC (Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions) and leading companies such as Unilever, KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines), NS (Dutch Railways), KPN (Royal Mail and Telecom), Robeco and Cargill.
