The St. Anthoniesluis at the Oudeschans canal; the view that Rembrandt had from his room
Netherlands, Amsterdam. The St. Anthoniesluis (lock of Saint Anthonie, 1602) at the 'Oudeschans' canal. The small café at the right is called 'De Sluyswacht' or Lockkeeper's Inn (1695). In the back the tower named 'Montelbaanstoren'. This was the view that Rembrandt had from his house (now the 'Rembrandthuis' museum).
